Ebola Spain: Two Hospitals In Canary Islands Are Preparing For Possible Ebola Cases

The Ministry of Health has implemented the installation of Isolation areas in 2 Hospitals in the Canary Islands to help treat any possible Ebola Cases. University Hospital Candelaria,Santa Cruz de Tenerife and University Hospital Dr Negrin in Gran Canaria have both been designated by the Ministry of Health sources told EFE

Both Hospitals have been provided with additional support should treatment be required outside the Isolation areas.

The Ministry has stressed that it is implementing the recommendations made ​​by the Ministry of Health to PROVIDE the best possible assistance, should any Ebola cases be detected in any of the Canary Islands which has not happened yet; and is in response to the Ebola outbreak,which is now in several African countries,

The department’s regional government has said that these measures should not raise any alarm, as they are applied to ensure the safety of users of public health.
